Tasting notes:
Kabocha has an exceptional sweet flavour, even sweeter than butternut squash. It is similar in texture and flavour to a pumpkin and sweet potato combined. Some kabocha can taste like Russet potatoes or chestnut.
Storage:
We store our pumpkins and release them for sale when their flavour is at its peak. Please do not keep them in the fridge. They should be kept in a dry place with even temperature and humidity.
