Little Gem Lettuce

Traditional tight head upright lettuce.

End of April to end of Sept
 
Tasting notes:
Often described as 'a combination of Butter and Romaine'. Little Gem is crisp, like a Romaine, and sweet, like a Butter, but the texture and the flavour are still its own.
 
Storage:
We avoid using single use plastic as much as possible here at the farm, however salads and greens will last for longer if kept in an air tight container in the fridge. Keep out of direct sunlight
