Tasting notes:
Red Russian kale is more tender to eat and has a sweeter flavour than the more traditional varieties of curly kale. It has grey-green 'oak leaf' shaped frilly leaves with attractive purple veining, which get deeper in the cold.
Storage:
We avoid using single use plastic as much as possible here at the farm, however salads and greens will last for longer if kept in an air tight container in the fridge. Keep out of direct sunlight.
