Cinnamon Basil

Description:
Dark green pointed leaves with purple stems, this basil variety is also known as Mexican basil. 
Seasonality:
Early July to early Sept.
Tasting notes:
Aromatic, emitting a sweet, spice-filled scent. The leaves have a pleasant green, herbal, warm flavour with notes of cinnamon and mint.
Storage:
Any type of Basil/ Perilla (Shiso) should never go in the fridge as it destroys the flavour. We suggest you keep it at room temperature.
