Tasting notes:
Leaves of this basil taste like liquorice. They offer a spicy bite of strong anise flavour mixed in with the familiar basil taste.
 
Storage:
Any type of Basil/ Perilla (Shiso) should never go in the fridge as it destroys the flavour. We suggest you keep it at room temperature.
