Thai Basil

Description:
Strongly anise/liquorice flavoured basil and highly aromatic, it holds up well to cooking. Narrow leaves and pink-purple flowers.

Seasonality:
Mid June to early Sept
 
Tasting notes:
Thai basil smells like anise and liquorice with a slightly spicy taste.
 
Storage:
Any type of Basil/ Perilla (Shiso) should never go in the fridge as it destroys the flavour. We suggest you keep it at room temperature.
