About our Chioggia Beetroots

We prefer to call these beauties by their real name rather that their nickname "candystripe". These beets have a light red/pink skin and pink/white bullseye flesh.

Seasonality:
Mid Jan to March and mid May to mid Dec
Tasting notes:
When raw, Chioggia beets have a crunchy texture with a strong earthy flavour. When cooked, they develop a tender and soft consistency with a sweet, earthy flavour.

Keep in the fridge.
