Squash season is here
It’s feeling very autumnal here on the farm. Plum season has drawn to a close, but apples and pears are now in abundance, and our squash harvest is filling up the brand new dry and warm storage space (and tumbling into the Farm Shop!).
Out in the fields, the first radicchio harvest is in, winter tunnel planting is underway with pepper cress and pink celery going in this week, and our tomato season is nearly finished. Soon the tunnels will be cleared, ready for more winter crops… and more salad!

In staffing news, this week, we said goodbye to Nancy – our salad wizard, team cheerleader, and all-round salad fairy. She’s off to begin her next growing adventure, and while we’ll miss her hugely, we wish her every success in what comes next.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Biodiversity & Regenerative Food Festival in Cambridge last weekend — it was such a joy to see so many of you there!
